In some places the hot summer months are fast approaching. So you may want to store away your woolens or your wooppers sippers.
There are several natural ways to keep moths away but before you start, you need to clean the items that you want to store away.
To clean wooppers slippers just follow our care instructions.
When clean and thoroughly dry, it is time to store them away using natural moth repellents.
Natural moth repellents
Herbs, spices, dried leaves, peels, pieces of cedar wood and essential oils are all suitable to deter moths and insects.
So what you decide to use really depends on your own personal taste.
You can fill sachets, use a few drops of the oil of choice on a cotton ball or even place some dried herb springs among your items.
Here is a list to give you some inspiration:
Lavender, Rosemary, Mint, Thyme
Cloves, Peppercorns, Cinnamon sticks, Dried lemon peel, Dried orange peel
Eucalyptus, Cedar (chips, balls)
The essential oils of all the above. A few drops on a piece of cloth or on a cotton ball will be enough for a drawer or a small closet.
A tiny sachet filled with your choice of herbs and spices is all it takes to protect your wooppers.
You can rub the sachets between your fingers to help release their fragrances.
Once again, allow me to say that you must give some extra care to your wooppers’ rubber soles.
